Coach Dusty’s Philosophy: My goal is to help these kids understand the essential balance of being a student-athlete. When I played college ball, my focus was in the wrong place, and I lost my scholarship because I ignored my education. I want our players to learn from my mistakes. To stay on the diamond, you have to succeed in the classroom first. It is 'student' before 'athlete' for a reason, and you need both to play the game.
